Brainstorm Blog #2

After experimenting in the Audio Lab, I decided that I really liked the sounds I created. They were rather spooky and sounded as if it came from a different world. Now that I have practiced, I think I would like to go in a similar direction as I did in the lab. I also just want to enjoy exploring some more and creating something unexpected. With that being said, I won't be going into this project with too many expectations because I would like unexpected things to happen. I believe that the more freedom I give myself for this project, the better it will come out and the more I will learn to navigate this application. Although I have the goal to create a sound that seems from a different world, if it becomes something else then I will be fine with it as long as I think it is better than what I had expected. Overall, I am rather excited about this project and eager to see what I end up making. As of now, I have gone through all the sounds and chosen some of the ones I think would be fitting with my plan. Some of the ones I decided to use are a squeaking door, squelch, dog eating treat, and ice sounds. I believe that these sounds could enhance the otherworldly vibe that I am going for. I also think it would be interesting to see what I could do with these sounds and what the outcome of it will be.
